And, when skin can’t breathe, it looks dull and dry, especially in the winter. (more…)

bubble bath

When you’re feeling stressed after a hectic day, the last thing you want to worry about is whether the remedy you’ve chosen to de-stress your mind will cause undue stress to your skin. Unwinding with a hot soak in the tub is a favorite remedy of many stressed-out folks, but too many commercial bath preparations contain artificial, bad-for-the-earth ingredients that can dry out your skin and make you itch all over. When Joshua Onysko founded Pangea Organics in Boulder, Colorado, in 2000, he had a lot of impressive goals for his new company—to make organic, handcrafted, nurturing products; to be kind to the Earth; to inspire others to reconsider their ways. At the time, he probably didn’t even think about the possibility of winning future awards. But when you have a product line that has created a new understanding of health and beauty, the awards are sure to follow. (more…)
