Its funny how we get so familiar with how we are presenting things that when they are presented differently, we become befuddled. This is the commonly case with the Nova Mundo chocolate in a jar. It’s not a candy bar or a sauce –it is a hybrid of both.
But yes, the ganache-style chocolate does make a great sauce! To melt the chocolate: heat a pan of water to a boil, let the hot water rest for a minute, then place your jar of chocolate in the hot water until sufficiently melted for your use. PLEASE NOTE – when placing the jar of chocolate in hot water, we recommend keeping the lid above the water and dry. When sufficiently melted, shake or stir, then pour over your ice cream, cacao beans, or other delectables and enjoy!
Or if you are a cookie-batter eater like me and just can’t wait for it to melt, it’s also delicious when eaten by the spoonful!
Here are some ways we like using the chocolate jar:
- Pour it over crepes
- Pour it over ice cream
- Heat it up and spread it on toast with peanut butter
- Dip cut apples into it
- Use it to make great chocolate swirl cookies
- Pour it over nuts and fruit and cool to make homemade brittle
- Stir it into muffins before baking
- And don’t forget… it’s good by the spoonful!
However you choose to use the ganache chocolate jar, we are sure you will have a feast! Please share your own unique ideas with us!
